This past weekend, I attended the annual Writers Conference in Hyannis, MA, hosted by the Cape Cod Writers Center. Tucked between my duties at the member bookstore, I attended a 2-day class titled ‘The Secrets of Plotting’ and came away with valuable writing techniques.
Attending conferences, whether the CCWC, Sisters in Crime, or Mystery Writers of American, never fails to add another skill to my writers toolbox.
A bonus is chatting with other writers to share resources for additional writing tips and hints.
